Stephen L. Davis

Steve's practice is focused on transactional counseling and litigation in the areas of copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, unfair competition, the Internet and e-commerce, and art law, as well as general business counseling and litigation. Steve has extensive experience in civil litigation in state and federal courts, and has prosecuted misdemeanor and felony criminal cases as a deputy district attorney with the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office.

Steve has been an active lecturer on a variety of topics including intellectual property law, the Internet, and art law. Steve is a former president of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Sacramento County Bar Association. He also is a member of California Lawyers for the Arts and serves on its attorney referral and mediator panel.

Mark R. Leonard

Mark's practice is focused on registration (copyright, trademark, domain name) and counseling (intellectual property auditing, content protection, license preparation and review), and litigation in the areas of trademark and copyright infringement, computer intrusion, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings, and ICANN Internet domain name disputes.

Prior to practicing law, Mark worked in government at the federal and state levels as a legislative staff member and spokesperson and in the public relations field where he specialized in media relations and crisis communications training.
